At The Dublin School of Grinds we offer free trials in our specially designed 4th Year maths course. These free classes are provided to offer students an insight into the unrivalled exam preparation delivered by our expert teachers.
Students who attend a free trial will receive a complimentary set of exam focused study notes. We also encourage students to talk to the teacher either before or after the class to address any particular areas with which they may be having trouble.
Note: The Maths classes are designed especially for 4th years. There are other subjects designed for 5th Year students which 4th Years can attend a free trial in. These are: Accounting, Applied Maths, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Economics, English, French, Irish, Physics and Spanish.
Students may attend a free trial in up to two subjects.

The Mathematics Department of The Dublin School of Grinds has designed the 4th Year grinds to cover the foundations of the Higher Level syllabus. This course provides a comprehensive and solid basis for further study in the year ahead. Our tailored classes follow the objectives of the Project Maths Syllabus, where the understanding and development of skills are of equal importance. Our grinds give students a head-start before their classes get streamed in school.
About Project Maths: Project Maths involves the introduction of a revised syllabus for Mathematics. It involves changes to what students must learn, how they learn it and how they will be assessed. Our Maths Department is at the forefront in teaching the changes to the syllabus and has become renowned for their expertise in this area.
About the teacher: Having worked for the State Examination Commission, Carl brings his reputation as an authority on the Maths Syllabus to The Dublin School of Grinds. As a member of the Irish Mathematics Teachers' Association, he is a popular teacher amongst students due to his mastery of the Project Maths Syllabus and is well-known for his ability to stimulate students' interest in Maths.
