The Dublin School of Grinds’ staff members are passionate about education and are committed to supporting charity in this sector. We support educational charities and causes, both nationwide and abroad, in countries such as Romania, Kenya and Cambodia. Below are some typical examples of our work:
Former student heads for Cambodia
In June 2015, our former student, Grace Lynch, travelled to the SCCDO School in Phnom Pehn, Cambodia, where funds donated were used to provide the children with essential educational resources, such as books, reading materials and sports equipment. Below is a great picture of the kids of the school.
Partnering with SVP
We are delighted to have partnered with The Society of St. Vincent de Paul to offer free educational courses, helping those in need by alleviating its effects on individuals and families. We feel that education is a key driver in improving the welfare of those in need, and SVP’s practical approach fits well with our offering.
Climbing over Obstacles
In April 2015, we supported the charity campaign of Jessica Macken in aid of Concern, which included a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
